A multimeter see below should show the voltage between the battery terminals between 13 4 and 14 5 volts dc.
Less than 10 most of the time.
Test the battery power when a battery operated retractable awning does not work.
If all fuses are found to be o k.
If the light comes on with both sides the fuse is good.
Retract a battery operated rv awning manually when batteries do not have enough power.
You will need to have the voltage signals tested to the strip lights to verify that this is the cause and if found to be the cause it can be replaced from there as a complete strip assembly.
